The firm follows a long-standing policy of art patronage. Since the mid-90s, the focus on contemporary art and new media has increased. The group exhibits its art collection at its Perili Kösk headquarters, open to the public on week-ends, making it the first office-museum.

Founded in 1879, la Société Foncière Lyonnaise owns the largest portfolio of prime commercial property in Paris, with assets worth €4bn, and an annual turnover of €150m. The firm counts 79 employees.

 

Bertrand Julien-Laferrière initiated a programme called «Mémoires Con-temporaines» (Contemporary Me-mories) allowing artists such as Per Barclay, Alain Bublex, Felice Varini and François Morellet, to create works for SFL’s exceptional architectural spaces.

Founded in 1968, the Farplas group is a leading supplier in Turkey to the automotive industry. With an annual turnover close to €150m, the group counts 2,000 employees in Turkey, India and the US.

 

Ahu Serter created a luxury hotel brand in Bodrum where works of art are exhibited. It also houses an art gallery, and the Casa Dell'Arte artist residency programme. Around a guest curator, artists from all over the world create works inspired by the local context over a six-week period.

Mediator for Fondation de France’s Nouveaux Commanditaires

 

The programme created by artist Francois Hers, has an annual budget of €1.5m, resulting in 400 works of art commissioned across 8 countries since 1991.

 

The purpose of the Nouveaux Commanditaires (New Patrons) is to help any person or group to commission a public work of art from an artist, as illustrated by two case studies: Ettore Spalletti at the Garches Hospital, and Berdaguer & Péjus for Marseille' Federation of Central City Businesses.
